MAGWest Panel Submission Form

We expect many requests being sent in and will be unable to accept them all. We WILL be contacting potential panelists for more information as necessary. To increase your odds of acceptance, fill this form out accurately and keep an eye out for communication from us.

Panel requests are due by 11:59pm PDT on Thursday, May 15.

We hope to send acceptance emails out no later than June 15th.

Panel Description

This is to explain your pitch to us - this can be different from what you want to show the public. 18+ panels will not be accepted.

Schedule Description

Expected Panel Length

An hour is typical, including time for Q&A.

Why do you need the extra time?

Panels longer than 60 minutes are allowed, but discouraged unless you really need the extra time.

Panel Noise Level

Is it okay to record your panel?

While we don't record every panel, we attempt to record and post most panels to our YouTube channel after the event.

Would your panel benefit from a different setup from our normal panel rooms – for instance, an open space or tables for people to work on?

Our ability to reconfigure main panel rooms is very limited, but we have some alternative spaces that might be better suited for specific needs.

Does your event require attendees to pay an upfront cost of materials for hands-on activities?

Is your panel related to tabletop gaming?

Technical Needs

By default, each panel room will have a table with four microphones, power for a laptop, and connections for 1/8" audio and HDMI video. VGA support will not be available. If you need anything beyond this please describe it above. Our techops department (techops@magwest.org) will reach out to you directly for details.

Will you need a loud environment?

Yes, I require an environment to have a large volume presentation.

When are you NOT available?

Please list all times during the event when you will NOT be available to hold your panel. This is used for scheduling purposes. Rescheduling based on information not given here will be very difficult.

Panels run from 12 PM to 3 AM Thursday, 10 AM to 3 AM Friday, 10 AM to 3 AM Saturday, and 10 AM to 3 PM Sunday.

I verify I am available at any time during the event EXCEPT for the times listed above.

I will not prematurely e-mail MAGWest to check my panel status, with the understanding that MAGWest will send final determinations by the end of June 15th.
